Following the widespread Israeli airstrikes across Iran, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly addressed the nation, reaffirming Israel’s commitment to defend itself and prevent Iran’s nuclear advancement. The address came in the aftermath of Operation Rising Lion, during which over 200 Israeli fighter jets targeted high-value military and nuclear sites across Iran.
🛡️ Netanyahu’s Message to the Nation
In his speech, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel’s strike was not only defensive but necessary to ensure the nation’s survival amidst increasing Iranian aggression. He confirmed the elimination of top IRGC commanders and nuclear scientists, echoing the IDF’s earlier statement that the “world is safer without these mass murderers.”
The Prime Minister stressed that the operation will continue “for as long as needed,” and warned that any further threats from Tehran would be met with force. He also invoked the memory of past Jewish persecution as justification for Israel’s unyielding defense stance.

In retaliation, Iran launched over 100 drones and missiles, most of which were intercepted by Israel’s Iron Dome and Arrow systems. Major cities like Jerusalem and Tel Aviv were on high alert, with global powers urging restraint and diplomacy amid fears of broader conflict.
