The Cut Beauty Closet

The Cut style team comprises eight writers and editors — some of us have acne-prone skin, some suffer hair loss, and some have darker skin tones — and we test hundreds of products annually. Heat tools and LED masks? We’ve tried those, too. Basically, there’s never a time that we’re not testing products. Below is an exhaustive list of our top 100 best-in-class products, priced from $6 to $2695. Each one has been tested across different metrics: Does it really do what the ads promise? Are the ingredients worth the price? Would you recommend it to a friend?

Some of our favorites are the Osea body oil; Ouai anti-dandruff shampoo (it has saved us on more than one occasion); and a T3 curling iron (it makes our life a lot easier). We also mined our articles to pick our celebrity favorites like Hailey Bieber’s go-to sunscreen and Yara Shahidi’s preferred lip oil. (Hint: It’s a cult classic.)
