BDE: An IDF soldier was killed overnight on Shabbos during combat in southern Lebanon, the IDF announced on Motzei Shabbos.
He was identified as Sgt. First Class Guy Ludar, H’yd, 21 from Yuvalim, a yishuv in the Lower Galil. He served in the Maglan Unit of the Commando Brigade.
He was killed as a result of friendly fire, the IDF said. Another soldier was seriously wounded in the same incident.
