
VANCOUVER, Canada – As patrons of the Vancouver East Cultural Centre mingle with a group protesting “Soldiers of Tomorrow” – the latest one-man-play by Israeli-Canadian Itai Erdal (co-written with Colleen Murphy) about his disillusionment with “the most moral army in the world” while serving as a combat soldier in the Israeli army’s Nahal Brigade in the early ’90s – there is a kind of meta theater afoot.
