CRUZ’S STUNNING WARNING: ‘Tucker Carlson Is the Most Dangerous Demagogue in America’

At a town hall on Capitol Hill Thursday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) declared, “Tucker Carlson is the most dangerous demagogue in America.”

He made this incendiary statement in the context of explaining that antisemitism, which he called a “cancer” and a “poison,” poses the greatest threat to the right, with Carlson one of its greatest purveyors.

“We are seeing a cancer on the right, and it is rising anti-Semitism,” he declared. He went on to say that for the past decade, Democrats looked the other way in the face of increasing antisemitism within their own ranks, and it “consumed” them.

“There is a very real pro-Hamas contingent of the Democrat Party,” Cruz said. But “here’s the scary thing: I’ve seen more anti-Semitism on the right in the last 18 months than any time in my life, and it is spreading like a cancer.”

In particular, Cruz said that Jew hatred “is spreading, in particular, among young people.” Because he believes it is an “existential threat,” he had “resolved last year that I am going to do everything humanly possible to defeat this poison.”

The threat is existential because, he said, “antisemitism is the gateway drug to anti-capitalism and anti-Americanism; and you can see the Green-Red alliance with Comrade Mamdani in New York City, where the Islamists and Communists come together because they both hate the same people.”

“And spoiler alert, those people is us,” he continued, pointing out that Christian Zionists are in the same bucket. “Tucker Carlson has said there’s nobody on planet earth he hates more than Christian Zionists, and he named, in particular, the two people he hates most on planet earth, are me and Mike Huckabee.”

“And you know what? I wear his scorn with pride, because I am proud to stand with Israel, and I’m proud to stand with America. And I’ll say this, Sharia law has no place in the United States of America,” he concluded.

The Faith and Freedom Coalition hosted the town hall event taking place on Capitol Hill. The event featured such speakers as House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) and Republican Conference Chair Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) in addition to Cruz.

Cruz also said at the town hall that “the Democrats just elected three communist lunatics,” referring to Brad Lander, Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier, all of whom have run on stridently anti-Israel platforms. Chevalier went so far as to defend her attendance at a pro-Hamas protest on Oct. 8, 2023, the very day after the worst massacre of the Jewish people since the Holocaust and the worst in Israel’s history.
