In recent weeks, a new sound has been heard on the Hebrew University of Jerusalem’s Givat Ram campus – the light rail’s chiming bell. It’s still test runs for now, but in a few weeks, Jerusalem’s newest light rail line will be inaugurated. And, after years of anticipation, students and faculty will be able to get to campus by train. Almost.
