The pop star–to–WAG pipeline is so hot right now. Musician and influencer Madison Beer is engaged to Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert after less than a year of dating. The two celebrated their engagement in an Instagram post featuring photos of the proposal captioned “Meet my fiancé.” The two were first seen together last August on the set of one of Beer’s shoots. She has since appeared at his football games, and they confirmed their relationship when they kissed pregame on the sidelines of game five. He has since appeared in the music video for her song “Lovergirl.”
If a relationship grouping can be called a trend, then pop star and football player is certainly a hot one at the moment. Obviously, the biggest names on the field are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, but Hailee Steinfeld and Bills quarterback Josh Allen are also married. Ciara and former Seahawk Russell Wilson are still going strong, and Fifth Harmony expat Normani is engaged to Pittsburgh Steeler DK Metcalf. So who’s next? We’d like to see Addison Rae date Cincinnati Bengal Joe Burrow, a.k.a. “Joe Cool,” a.k.a. “Joe Brrr.” She could film a music video in his Batmobile.
