Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) was confronted by a reporter from the far-left outlet Drop Site News, and he took the opportunity to unleash on the outlet, asking why it loves Hamas so much.
Drop Site News posted the video with the spin that Fetterman refused to answer the reporter’s questions, not realizing that the staunch ally of Israel made the outlet look bad via his cutting remarks that exposed its naked bias.
“Oh, you’re Drop Site. Oh, now, it’s like a race between who’s more pro-Hamas, Drop Site or Zeteo,” Fetterman said.
He waved his hand at the camera, saying, “Hi, hi, everybody.”
As the reporter tried to ask a question, Fetterman cut in.
“I just want to say, I want your viewers to say how much I love to watch Israel eliminating the Hamas leadership,” he said. “I know that upsets a lot of your viewers and a lot of your founders, but I think it’s a great thing. So there’s no news coming out of me. I’m going to always back Israel.”
When the reporter tried to ask another question, Fetterman said, “The question is, where does your trash outlet come from, and who’s funding it? … Your founders think it’s appropriate to attack and kill Israeli civilians. That should be the news overall.”
“The question is, why does Drop Site love Hamas and Iran and Hezbollah so much?” he went on. “I think that’s the news. I mean, are you okay with taking your paycheck from these kind of people?”
As the senator walked into the elevator, the reporter managed to get his question in edgewise.
“Are you okay with Prime Minister Netanyahu?” he asked.
Fetterman turned to face the reporter, and just as the doors slid closed, he gave his final punch:
“I love killing Hamas leadership,” he declared.
From Oct. 7 onward, Fetterman has proved to be a stalwart ally of Israel and the Jewish people, often bucking his party to vote with Republicans on aid to Israel and other issues related to Israel. Jewish groups have expressed their gratitude for his friendship and allyship by inviting him to events and honoring him. For example, Yeshiva University awarded the senator its highest honor, the Presidential Medallion for Global Leadership, in May 2024 at its 93rd commencement ceremony.
