IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir says the military will continue hunting down terrorists who took part in the October 7 massacre, despite calls by the U.S.-led Board of Peace to limit strikes in Gaza to “immediate threats.”
“The pursuit of the October 7 terrorists continues. Anyone who took part in the massacre will live under pursuit until they are eliminated,” Zamir said during a visit to Gaza today.
Zamir said the IDF will not allow enemies in Gaza or Lebanon to rebuild their strength or establish new terror infrastructure, and will continue acting “offensively and systematically” against emerging threats.
In recent months, the IDF has stepped up strikes against terrorists involved in October 7, saying those targeted during the ceasefire also posed an immediate threat.
