8-Month-Old Baby Niftar After Mother And Two Children Struck By Vehicle Outside NPGS – The Yeshiva World

A horrifying tragedy unfolded Friday in Jackson, New Jersey, where an 8-month-old baby was R”L niftar after a mother and her two children were struck by a vehicle outside NPGS.

Central Jersey Hatzolah and other emergency personnel rushed to the scene after receiving reports of multiple pedestrians struck. Due to the severity of the incident and number of victims, a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) was declared.

The three victims — a mother and her two children — were rushed to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Tragically, despite desperate efforts to save the infant, the 8-month-old baby was niftar.

The Niftar has been identified as Yitzchok (ben Pinchos) Rosenberg, 8 months old, from Jackson.

Initial information indicates that the incident occurred when a woman pulling out in a vehicle struck the family.

The mother and her other child remain hospitalized and are in need of tefillos.

The public is asked to please daven for Rochel bas Golda Chana and Golda Chana bas Leah Shaindel.
