JUST IN: Iran Opens a Second Night of Fire on Kuwait as Air Defenses Battle Missiles and Drones
Iran launched another wave of missiles and attack drones at Kuwait overnight, triggering warning sirens and repeated explosions as Kuwaiti air-defense systems engaged the incoming threats. The military said the blasts heard across the country were caused by interceptions and urged residents to remain calm. No injuries or confirmed damage were immediately reported.
The attack marked a second consecutive night of Iranian strikes against Gulf states hosting U.S. forces. Tehran claims it is targeting American military assets, but Kuwait has condemned the campaign as blatant Iranian aggression against its sovereignty.
A night earlier, an Iranian drone struck a residential complex in Kuwait’s Capital Governorate, igniting a fire that emergency crews contained without casualties and with only limited material damage. The renewed barrage shows the Islamic Republic once again expanding its retaliation beyond the direct U.S.-Iran battlefield and placing neighboring states in the line of fire.
