The IDF released interrogation footage of a man it identifies as a Hamas operative, who says he worked at Kamal Adwan Hospital while taking part in terrorist activity. The hospital is in Jabalia, in northern Gaza.
The military says the facility operates as a daytime clinic while Hamas uses it and the surrounding area to plan attacks and rebuild its capabilities. Its wider release includes footage it says shows armed terrorists at the hospital and a bomb being planted nearby.
The IDF says Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad have used the hospital area for attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers, exploiting patients and medical staff as human shields. The detainee’s account and the military’s claims have not been independently verified; the interrogation’s recording date is unconfirmed.
