Graham Tells Iranian Protesters “Help Is on the Way” as Trump Reposts Warning to Tehran • Jewish Breaking News

Senator Lindsey Graham issued a forceful public message to the Iranian people on social media, declaring that their “long nightmare is soon coming to a close” as protests continue against Iran’s ruling clerical regime.

In a post on X, Graham praised Iranian demonstrators for what he described as their bravery and determination in the face of oppression, saying their actions have been noticed by Donald Trump and supporters of freedom worldwide.

“When President Trump says Make Iran Great Again, it means the protestors in Iran must prevail over the ayatollah,” Graham wrote. He added that Trump understands Iran “will never be great with the ayatollah and his henchmen in charge.”

Graham concluded his message by offering a blessing to those participating in the demonstrations and suggesting that assistance is forthcoming. “To all who are sacrificing in Iran, God bless. Help is on the way,” he said.

President Trump later amplified the message by reposting Graham’s statement, signaling alignment with the senator’s remarks and reinforcing public support for the Iranian people. In doing so, Trump criticized Iran’s leadership and condemned what he described as the regime’s brutal treatment of its own citizens amid widespread unrest.

The exchange comes as protests across Iran have intensified, fueled by economic hardship, political repression, and long standing grievances against the Islamic Republic’s leadership. Demonstrations that began over financial conditions have increasingly evolved into direct calls for the removal of the ruling clerics.

Iranian authorities have responded with force, deploying security services to suppress protests and imposing restrictions such as internet disruptions and mass arrests. Human rights groups have reported numerous casualties and detentions, further drawing international scrutiny.

Other US officials have also voiced support for Iranian demonstrators, emphasizing that the United States stands with those seeking basic freedoms and human rights. The growing chorus of statements from Washington has added to already heightened tensions between the United States and Tehran.

While no official policy changes or actions have been announced, Graham’s remarks and Trump’s public endorsement underscore a hardening rhetorical stance toward Iran’s leadership at a moment of significant internal pressure on the regime.
