Immediately after October 7, the cameras appeared. Right after the initial shock started to dissipate, dozens of filmmakers went down south and began to film. Others sat in front of the computer at home and started to brainstorm and write. There was a burning desire to do something: to film, to document, to tell a story that responds to the tragedy of that day and to the heroism that emerged.
