Iranian state television has aired a disturbing propaganda video portraying the fictional kidnapping and captivity of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The two-minute production opens with a breaking news alert in both Arabic and Hebrew, informing viewers that Netanyahu has mysteriously vanished following an accident in Tel Aviv. The narrative then follows notorious IRGC Commander Mojtaba Fada, depicted as a family man receiving an unexpected summons to headquarters. There, Fada discovers Netanyahu, bound and helpless in a chair.

Since taking command of the IRGC in Isfahan in July 2019, Fada has earned a reputation for brutal suppression of anti-government protests. He has consistently deflected blame for domestic unrest onto foreign adversaries, particularly Israel and the United States, whom he accuses of instigating opposition to the Islamic regime.

“The former prime minister of the Zionist regime announced that he hopes to travel to Tehran due to the recent disturbances, but God willing, the Islamic Republic will prevail and we will bring him to Iran with his hands tied and a [slave] collar around his neck after the defeat of the child-killing regime of Israel,” Fada once publicly declared at a funeral for security forces.

Meanwhile, Channel 12 reports Israel is alarmed by what it views as a “bad deal” taking shape between the United States and Iran. Israeli officials believe the potential agreement fails to prevent Iranian nuclear ambitions and claim they’re receiving inadequate information from Washington, even as US envoy Steve Witkoff maintains communication with Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer.
