Beloved French-Israeli singer Ishay Ribo shared joyful personal news this week: the birth of his sixth child, a baby boy. In a heartfelt message posted Thursday morning, Ribo expressed deep gratitude to G-d and his wife, Yael.
“A son as sweet as honey was born to us this morning. My 6th child, without the evil eye :). And all the credit goes to my wife Yael — she is the champion. I scored when I married you. Thank you G-d,” he wrote.
Ribo, a Sephardic Orthodox Jew, is widely admired across Israel’s religious and secular communities. His soulful music and spiritual lyrics have earned him a unique place in the Israeli music world, resonating with Haredi, national-religious, and secular fans alike.
