The Prime Minister expressed regret over the delay in securing Sharabi’s release. “I want you to know that I regret that it took us such a long time. We fought hard to get you out; your brother and the entire family fought hard,” he said, emphasizing that Sharon Sharabi had been in close contact with him throughout the ordeal.

Netanyahu commended Sharabi for his bravery in recounting his experiences and stressed the importance of sharing his story with President Donald Trump during an upcoming visit. “It is very important that you also tell this to President Trump,” Netanyahu urged. He also called for the return of those who had been murdered, including his brother Yossi, so their families could finally lay them to rest.
Sharabi pledged to advocate alongside his family and President Trump to push for the return of all hostages. “Maybe with our joint efforts, we will bring this saga to a close,” he said.

Netanyahu assured Sharabi that Israel remains relentless in its mission. “This is the objective, and I want you to know that we will not relent for a moment, including even as I am speaking to you.”
