Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday that he will travel to Florida to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday to discuss efforts to end Russia’s nearly four-year war with Ukraine.
Zelenskyy said the leaders will review a joint 20-point peace framework that he described as about 90 percent ready, including provisions for security guarantees, economic cooperation and postwar reconstruction. Talks are also expected to address territorial issues, including the status of eastern Ukraine, where fighting continues.

The Ukrainian leader said European partners should be involved in any peace process but acknowledged that their participation may not be finalized in the early stages. He reiterated that Ukraine opposes major territorial concessions as part of any agreement.
Russia has not publicly endorsed the proposed framework and continues military operations, including missile and drone strikes across Ukraine. Ukrainian officials say they hope discussions with Trump will increase diplomatic pressure on Moscow to agree to a ceasefire.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with Donald Trump on Monday at Mar-a-Lago, as regional security and diplomatic developments continue to draw international attention.
