Congratulations are in order for former Spice Girl Melanie Brown and her new husband, hairstylist Rory McPhee, on their marriage. The pair have been dating since 2019 and got engaged in 2022, when McPhee popped the question during a getaway in Berkshire.
The newly legal couple had their ceremony on July 5 in The Crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, and Mel B’s bridesmaids included her three daughters, Pheonix Chi, 26, who she shares with her ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar, Angel Iris 18, who she shares with Eddie Murphy, and Madison, 13, who she shares with ex-husband Stephen Belafonte. The couple’s reception was celebrated at the Shangri-La Hotel inside The Shard. Mel B wore a custom gown from Josephine Scott for the ceremony and changed into a dress from designer Justin Alexander for the later portion of the evening while McPhee wore a traditional kilt.
Although Mel B was kicked out of the Spice Girls group chat last year for accidentally spilling some secrets, she appears to still be on good terms with her bandmates. Fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, appears to be the only other member of the girl group in attendance, but Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, wished Mel B and her new husband well on Instagram by sharing the couple’s joint post to her story and writing, “Congratulations to you both! We hope you had the most amazing day.” Same here!
