Epstein’s Brother Alleges Evidence Is Being Scrubbed to Protect Powerful Republicans • Jewish Breaking News

Mark Epstein is accusing Trump administration officials of quietly editing his brother’s files to shield Republicans from political fallout ahead of their anticipated release.

“I’ve been recently told, the reason they’re going to be releasing the files and the reason for the flip is that they’re sabotaging these files,” he told NewsNation, noting that they are “scrubbing the files to take Republican names out.”

Without naming his source, Mark Epstein insisted the files are being ‘sanitized’ at a Winchester, Virginia facility, located about 78 miles from Capitol Hill.

Trump, 79, had longstanding ties to Epstein, with the two photographed together several times over the years. Trump even sent Epstein a birthday card in 2003, which he allegedly marked with a personal note. According to Mark Epstein, his brother told him in 2016 that he possessed damaging information about Trump — enough, he claimed, to “cancel the election” — but chose not to reveal it.

Since retaking office, the Trump Administration has faced growing demands for full transparency amid its slow-walking of the Epstein files. Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on federal charges of sex trafficking minors and conspiracy, and died a month later in an apparent suicide while awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York.

Asked whether he thought his brother’s death was indeed a suicide, Mark Epstein went so far as to accuse the FBI of orchestrating a cover-up.

“Absolutely,” he said. “He was the one who said in his testimony, ‘you know a suicide when you see one.’ I had a laugh. How many suicides has that jackass seen? OK? He’s not a doctor, he’s not a pathologist. He never saw Jeffrey’s body. He wasn’t there.”

On Tuesday, in a 427-1 vote, both chambers of Congress agreed to order the US Justice Department to release all its files on the disgraced sex offender. However, the measure also allows Attorney General Pam Bondi to withhold any information that could compromise an active federal investigation or expose the identities of victims.

Leading the charge on the bill is Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), a frequent dissenter within his own party, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), once one of Trump’s most vocal allies.

At a Tuesday news conference, Greene said she was speaking on behalf of Epstein’s survivors and lashed out at Trump for calling her a “traitor.”

“Let me tell you what a traitor is,” Greene remarked. “A traitor is an American who serves foreign countries and themselves. A patriot is an American who serves the United States and the women standing behind me.”
