The Rishon Letzion Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday extended the detention of the man suspected of assault and an indecent act against a child in Be’er Sheva about two weeks ago. The suspect, a 63-year-old Be’er Sheva resident, is also suspected in connection with the kidnapping of the child Haymanot Kasau in Safed almost two years ago, and Judge Menahem Mizrahi said that the police have an indication that he was in Safed on the day of her disappearance.
