Israel Skins Dead Arabs • Jewish Breaking News

Khalid Turaani, executive director of CAIR-Ohio, testified before the Ohio Senate against SB 87, a bill that seeks to codify into law the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism, which has already been adopted by 37 states.

Standing before the assembly, Turaani said with a straight face that the law would criminalize him for saying what he believes is the truth: that Israel operates the largest human skin bank in the world, and all that skin comes from flaying the corpses of dead Gazans.

“Where do you think they got all this skin from?” he said. “They have more human skin than China and India. They are literally skinning the dead bodies of my brothers and sisters in Palestine. That is where they are getting the human skin from.”

While everyone listened politely, the woman sitting next to him took it in turns to look appalled and incredulous.

“If I call them ‘Nazis,’ your law is going to punish me,” he added, by way of explaining why the law is problematic for people like him.

It remains to be seen if those assembled found his argument persuasive.

The Ohio chapter of the ADL slammed the CAIR leader for his incendiary remarks.

“We are appalled that the CAIR-Ohio Executive Director falsely accused Israel of skinning Palestinians before the Ohio State Senate,” the organization said in a statement posted on X. “The antisemitic organ harvesting myth plays on the blood libel trope, which has spurred the torture, murder, and expulsion of Jews for centuries.”

“It continues to fuel violence against Jewish communities today. Such hateful, utterly false rhetoric has no place in our state capitol,” the statement added. “We call on Ohio’s leaders to join us in condemning these remarks and standing firm against antisemitism in all its forms.”

In the 2007 Holy Land Foundation trial, which investigated a fund that posed as a Muslim charity but was sending money to Hamas, federal prosecutors named CAIR an unindicted co-conspirator in the case. Texas and Florida have designated CAIR a foreign terrorist organization because of its ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, which CAIR denies.
