JBN is liveblogging the historic ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas after President Trump announced that all 48 remaining hostages will be released, likely beginning Monday.
After 732 days of anguish for hostage families and a nation united in prayer, the breakthrough represents a diplomatic triumph for Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu called it “a diplomatic success and a national and moral victory” as the Israeli cabinet prepares to vote Thursday on the agreement’s first phase.
The deal comes nearly two years after Hamas’s barbaric October 7, 2023 massacre that saw 1,200 Israelis slaughtered and 251 dragged into captivity in Gaza.
