The Kolta family—parents and their five children from Beit El—have recently relocated to Givat Or Ahuvia, becoming the second family to take up residence at the site. Located in Area B, southeast of Ofra in the Binyamin region, the hilltop community continues to grow.
Givat Or Ahuvia was originally founded during the war by a group of young women committed to right-wing religious and ideological values. Daily life on the hill centers around Torah study at the local study hall, agricultural work, construction projects, and the development of basic infrastructure.
Explaining their decision, the Kolta family cited ideological motivations: “We are excited to be part of the effort to undo the Oslo trap. We admire the youth who began this initiative and are proud to join the settlement movement. Our message is clear: We do not recognize area A, not B, not C—all of Israel is ours.”
