German diplomat Alexander Graf Lambsdorff will be Germany’s next ambassador to Israel. The decision will be made by the cabinet on Wednesday, according to several German media reports. Lambsdorff will leave his current position at the German embassy in Moscow and take over from ambassador Steffen Seibert, whose tenure ends this summer. Seibert is expected to retire.
