JUST IN: Trump Signals Possible U.S. Strike on Iran’s Deeply Buried Pickaxe Mountain Site
President Donald Trump says the U.S. could strike Iran’s heavily fortified Pickaxe Mountain complex “very soon,” adding that American intelligence knows “everybody that’s moving” at the site and elsewhere in Iran.
Pickaxe Mountain sits near the heavily damaged Natanz uranium-enrichment facility and contains two deeply buried tunnel complexes. The site, built into Kūh-e Kolang, has been associated with Iran’s centrifuge infrastructure and is believed to extend roughly 100 meters underground.
Trump has threatened the facility repeatedly, saying previously that if Iran failed to reach a nuclear agreement, the U.S. would “take out Pickaxe.” His latest warning suggests the site remains firmly in Washington’s sights.
