MAJOR BREAKING: TRUMP ADMINISTRATION REPORTEDLY SEEKING TO STRIP REP. ILHAN OMAR OF U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND DEPORT HER
The Trump administration’s investigation into Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar is aimed at building a case to revoke her American citizenship and ultimately deport her from the United States, according to U.S. officials and other individuals familiar with the investigation who spoke to The Wall Street Journal.
Omar, who was born in Somalia and became a naturalized U.S. citizen, could face denaturalization proceedings if the administration pursues the reported objective.
