Hi! Anyone still here? I know I barely have been lol. Going to do the typical influencer ramble post with a quick “wanted to pop on and say hey” chat. You know how it goes.

Man, where did we last leave off? I think I was in Nantucket living my best life with my friends for the month. Was it amazing? Yes. Should it become routine? Probably not. Where to start this post… I have so much to say and at the same time, not much to say. And honestly, I’ve written this post a few times (and deleted it a few more) because I found myself explaining/making excuses and not straight up sharing what’s been going on. So here we go…

I’m pregnant!

We are over the moon excited, but it’s been a really hard four months for me physically and mentally. It was a planned surprise (if that makes any sense at all) and I don’t know how much anyone is ever “ready.” Looking back, I don’t think I was/am. I had all these plans and things I wanted to do, and this kind of knocked me off my feet.

I had planned to keep up with the normal day-to-day life as if everything was normal, but I found out pretty early on that I had to put myself and my health first. The rest would have to wait. I definitely didn’t mean to abandon the blog or go silent on Instagram for months, but I’m really grateful that I was able to  put it on hold while my body grows this baby.

The good news is that I’m starting to feel a lot better as we are coming up on the halfway point. My plan is to jump back in like the good ol’ days, but still find time to give myself grace. Like always, I love to tell the blog the good news first and I’ll share more publicly tomorrow. So if you’re reading this, thank you for sticking around and being with me for these really exciting life changes. It’s kind of weird to “grow up” online in front of people (and really scary sometimes too!) but I’m forever grateful for the little community of people I’ve found here in you guys.

I’m obviously still navigating this whole pregnancy thing. I am the first to admit I have no idea what I’m doing, so I’m still a little unsure of what exactly I’ll be sharing. But I plan on taking everything day by day and I hope you’ll join me.

To all my fellow soon-to-be moms out there, to those who are trying or struggling to get pregnant, know my heart is with you through the good and the bad.
