It’s become a minor tourist attraction, and video posted online shows people swimming in the somewhat muddy water.

Yael Bar Tur, co-host of the Ask a Jew podcast and former director of social media for the NYPD, reposted video footage along with a comment saying, “Gotta love Israelis — Thanks to an Iranian rocket from a few months ago, a small spring was opened in northern Israel. The locals have called it ‘Rocket Spring.’”

Russian Israeli author Uri Kurlianchik posted, “This is the most Israeli story ever! An Iranian missile created a small spring in the north Israel. It’s now a minor tourist attraction called ‘rocket spring!’”

It’s a blessing the rocket landed in a field. Having formed a crater that size on impact, it would have inflicted immense damage had it struck an apartment complex.
